Campsites – UK -If travelling in the UK there are many advantages of becoming a member of the caravan and camping club to take full advantage of all their sites in the UK. http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk Not only do they have good UK coverage but the staff are friendly and helpful. There are also many clubs you can join e.g. Brit Stops  http://www.britstops.com/ where you can stay overnight for free at smaller providers. Normally these ‘hosts’ only have space for one motorhome.

Campsites – Europe – Travelling in Europe is truly an experience to be enjoyed and savoured. There are several ways to get great value whilst in Europe. One is by  booking your ferry and campsites together. The latest and newest addition to the team here at Emerald Farm home of South West Motorhomes is Larry the Lamb. Larry made a peaceful and quite entry into the world during Tuesday night and is already a star to us. We are eagerly awaiting the rest of the lambs to make up a fantastic mowing force for the 2012 season.

Please stop raining as we want to play outside.

Larry is a pure Poll Dorset Lamb and will hopefully be good enough to join a breeding herd when he is older. In the meantime he will enjoy grazing here at Emerald Farm and causing much amusement at coffee break time.

Having just recieved my copy of Brit Stops I am really excited to spread the concept of the Brit Stop.  The Scheme is simple – a variety of hosts ( vineyards,farms, farm shops, pubs etc..) offer an invitation to members of Brit Stops to stay overnight in a safe  for a maximum of 24 hours free of charge.

Upon registering as a member of brit stops, motorhome owners will recieve a windscreen sticker and the Brit Stops guide detailing the many locations you can stay at.
