Saving Money on your Motorhome Holiday – Our top tips….

Be a early bird

Book Early – By booking your holiday early you will be able     to take advantage of our early bird offer reducing the hire charge for your motorhome. By booking your holiday early you will also get the best choice of vehicle to suit your family.

Flexibility – Be flexible about your collection date for example if travelling abroad many ferries have cheaper crossings midweek then at weekends. This also applies to the channel tunnel. We will try and arrange your collection to suit your holiday wherever possible.

Timing – When planning your holiday pay attention to the seasons and when they change from low to mid to high season. By bringing your holiday forward or back a week you can save  £100’s of pounds on some vehicles. We also offer discounted European travel at several times of the year when travelling abroad for more than two weeks at a time.

Fuel – Our motorhomes have diesel engines and good fuel consumption this is however dependent on the way the motorhome is driven. For the best tips on driving well to save fuel see the following  http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/fuels-and-environment/drive-smart.html

CampsitesUK -If travelling in the UK there are many advantages of becoming a member of the caravan and camping club to take full advantage of all their sites in the UK. http://www.campingandcaravanningclub.co.uk Not only do they have good UK coverage but the staff are friendly and helpful. There are also many clubs you can join e.g. Brit Stops  http://www.britstops.com/ where you can stay overnight for free at smaller providers. Normally these ‘hosts’ only have space for one motorhome.
